Outdoor Photography - If you only do one thing this month
I entered Outdoor Photography's November challenge to shoot fireworks and I am delighted to learn that 3 of my images have been selected as runners up.
My images have been published in the February 2009 issue number 110.
Taken at the British Fireworks Championships in Plymouth. Plymouth Sound and the Hoe provide a natural amphitheatre for the displays.
I have been going to the championships for several years and for this submission I decided to enter images concentrating on "abstract" parts of the display rather than the full effect.
My congratulations to Diana Walker who is the winner of the challenge.

Have you noticed that on many web sites when you select a thumbnail image to enlarge, a vista look and feel window opens and expands to the size of the larger image. Well thanks to Lokesh Dhakar he has released the source code of Lightbox under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License. I have started to use this technique on later fozlogs. More details on how to use the scripts can be found on the lightbox website.

The main pages have been validated against the HTML 4.01 Transitional standards and I am gradually working through the rest of my pages.

I am finally getting to grips with how RSS feeds work and have created 2 feeds for new Fozlogs as they are posted and new Images for the A38 Dobwalls bypass construction.
You can see the RSS feed logo on the right hand side of each page.
I am using a free newsreader called Awasu which can be downloaded from their web site.
