Hello and welcome to Fozimage

What type of images do I enjoy taking?
Looking through my collections I realised that I enjoy a challenge in having a go at most subjects. So, on this site I am showing a selection of my favourite images - ones that I enjoy - if you do as well then that is a bonus.

The Image of the Day shows those images I really enjoyed making and I have included a subject index just for fun!

Using Canon EOS kit, most of these images are digital, but I still use slide film - it slows me down and makes me think about the image I want to create.

A little about myself -
- I have a day job as Head of Information Systems and Customer Service for a Cornish district council.
- I am an amateur photographer, I was awarded a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 1999 for a panel of 10 slides.
- I am a member & hon. Secretary with the Liskeard and District Camera Club.
- I started this web site - just for fun.

Why fozimage?

A nickname "fozzy" and I take pictures!*!

Why did I choose a Black White Gold theme for my website?

I live in Cornwall where the black and white on St Piran's flag represents tin ore, Gold can be found with our daffodils, sandy beaches and is also the Cornish Rugby Team colours!

What are Fozlogs?

I thought about blogging and then came up with my version called Fozlogs - if I have been out for the day with a camera then I have recorded the results for you to see.
