Backed by sand dunes or Towans the beach is popular with surfers and horse riders.
The next beach along is Godrevy with it's island lighthouse.
Horses are exercised on long leading reins.
The are strong reflections of the lighthouse in the wet sand as the sun breaks through.
At low tide you can walk over onto Godrevy beach.
Looking back towards Hayle we can see Upton and Hayle Towans in the distance.
