27th January 2011 - A winter's day in Looe.

These images were taken over the last fortnight in Looe.

A double rainbow over East Looe beach.

Looking over East Looe Beach and the Banjo Pier, towards Hannafore and St Georges Island.

As the tide falls in the river, birds take full advantage of the scraps left by the fishing boats.

I have not seen a juvenile heron as early in the year as this.

There are several pairs of Swans in the river.

As well as Cornorants and Herring Gulls.

Easy pickings for the Heron.

An Egret joins in.
