17th August 2006 - Fowey carnival - Red Arrows, Cornwall

The highlight of Fowey carnival week is the aerobatic display by the Red Arrows.

On Thursday evening, crowds gather in Fowey, Polruan and every field surrounding the natural ampitheatre of the Fowey estuary. These images were taken from Hall farm at Bodinnick whose fields face south overlooking Polruan, Fowey and Gribben Head. Reds arrival over the Gribben Head daymark Smoke on!

Tradition has it that the pilots return to Fowey after the display for a pasty supper at the King of Prussia pub.
