Luckily this time the high tides were not accompanied by any surge or strong swell. The waters just overlapped the quayside.
Waves were crashing over the sea defences on East looe beach.
At the height of the tide Looe RNLI were called into action, launching in response to reports of a person in the water off Plaidy beach.
