25th July 2014 - Looe RNLI low tide recovery.

Midday Friday 25th July and Looe RNLI were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a low tide search.

It is low tide and the inshore lifeboats are unable to reach the boathouse.

As the tide comes in D-741 Ollie Naismith returns to the boathouse.

The Atlantic 75 B-793 Alan and Margaret is a larger lifeboat, she waits in Looe bay.

The Altantic 75 waits for the tractor and drive on / drive off trailer to make its way down past the Banjo Pier.

Once on the trailer the lifeboat is towed back to the boathouse.
