Something different for the 9th Devon Coast to Coast Challenge - Escape from Cornwall.

Some 350 cyclists gather on the Banjo Pier for the start of the cycle challenge from Looe to Barnstable.

Participants gather for registration on Looe seafront.

Even the "Royal family" put in an appearance!.

Leaving the seafront they cycle along Buller Quay, East Looe.

and make their way along Fore Street.
